The Cyprus Customs Department has announced the “Customs Guide for Enterprises” prepared by EU due to United Kingdom’s exit from the European Union.
It is noted that the UK’s possible exit from the EU without an agreement (currently set for 31/10/19) means that it will cease to be part of the customs and tax territory of EU and it will be considered as a “third country” (with effect from 1 November 2019) unless otherwise agreed and based on current developments on the subject.
You may find the Guide at: https://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/uk-withdrawal-el
Please contact us or your authorized customs broker for customs clearance procedures to be implemented after the UK leaves the EU.
